House of the Week

We are on a Shutze roll!!
Thanks to my good friend Laura, who sent me the link for this Philip Shutze house built in 1935. I walked through the house on a Christmas house tour a few years ago -it is lovely in scale and detail. My favorite part of the house is an octagonal room that opens to the back yard. The house is for sale - listing here.

  1. I love classical clapboard. White wood houses don't seem "heavy." This is a goody.

  2. Hi Helen, Truly gorgeous......the rooms feel so gracious and light, even though there's plenty of furniture and accessories in them. Thanks for the tour!
